So this is the first time that I have ever blogged and I don't have much to say yet. We have yet to start our grand adventure and are waiting what seems to be an endless amount of time to set off in our journey. Only two days left and we will start the first leg of the journey - Canton, Michigan. It doesn't sound like much but this will set the scene for everyone to know what is to come. We will be in the stages of preparation with laundry, restocking supplies, saying our goodbyes, and to some - announcing the plan. The journey so appropriately starts with fireworks at the Liberty Fest which will be a momentous occasion to reflect on the road in front of us. Of course there has been some thunder taken from our adventure considering that we are heading north, and not west.... Yet. So Quebec awaits and of course there will be updates along the way. So cheers to an adventure months in the making... three weeks of hard preparations at a Waterford campsite... and long awaited family moments.
